Use And Care Instructions

Precautions

Cleaning: Kulkea bags may be cleaned by hand as needed with warm soapy water and followed by air drying in a warm, dry environment. Do not use alcohol or other cleaning solutions. Do not machine wash or dry.

Storage: Kulkea bags should be stored in a warm, dry environment free of mold and mildew.

Airline Baggage Check Precautions:

  • Do not leave straps hanging from the bag when placing it with airline baggage check.
  • Do not use helmet slings with airline baggage check carriage.
  • If the bag includes Stow-Away Straps, ensure the straps are fully tucked-away.

    Great kids ski bag

    I ski solo with my young son and hauling all his gear to the lodge on top of my own was a struggle. Enter this awesome backpack! It's a perfect size for a 7 year old to carry everything needed for the day. The construction is great and I appreciate that it's simple (not too many compartments to lose things in). Also worked great for my son when his class went on a skating trip, another parent remarked on how easy it was for him to manage his gear.

    My 8-year old can comfortably carry his own gear to races; light, very well made/durable with ample storage. I will likely order a second bag for myself. The boot pockets are large enough for my boots ( equivalent to 8 women's ). It can also be used for two pairs of skates ( 1 pair p/pocket ) and 2 helmets! Important to note that prices are listed in USD and if ordering to Canada you will need to pay a significant customs fee.

    My 10-year-old daughter recently received the Speed Star Boot Bag and she absolutely loves it! The size is nice and compact, yet it fits in all the essentials that she needs for race day or just free-skiing with her friends. The zippers on the bag have easy-to-use pulls that can be maneuvered while wearing mittens. The boot pockets are just the right size so that she can slip her boots in (and out) and zip the pocket closed with only one hand. The open-concept middle compartment can easily fit a helmet and a lunchbox. Further, if that compartment if full, she may clip her helmet to the outside of the bag, using the loops sewn tightly to the front of the bag. The Speed Star bag is the perfect sized bag for kids who want to carry all their ski-day essentials and look cool while doing it!

    Ordered the lavender speed star and my daughter used it last weekend. Not only was she excited to carry her own gear (for the first time), she was clearly showing off the great looking pack walking to the lodge. Wonderful bag.

    Got the blue Speed Star for my son and it looks even better in person! My 8 year old's eyes lit up when he saw it. He immediately put it on his back then ran to his closet to load it up and proudly parade it around the house. When I told him glows in the dark he tested that out and was even more excited. Bag feels sturdy and is nicely padded. What a great bag!
