Blown away by the quality. Amazing features like the detachable bit for electronics. You could probably even get this thing under the seat with small boots. From a lifelong Dakine user, I have been converted.

Arrived exactly as I hoped. This bag will be a very nice addition to my travel quiver. Boots now fit in a carry on bag/ and will still have room for “other stuff”. This bag is very nice looking, but will really function nicely on my trips. All I will take now is ski bag and this Kayda. Done.

Truly obsessed with this bag. Kulkea thought of everything with this design. Intuitive features like the glasses pocket, liner for boots, media pack that detaches for grab and go. It’s my favorite bag for travel as it holds enough for week long trips while still being functional for any type of transportation (carry on for flights or backpack for trains). The detachable top section is ideal when I get on a plane I pop it off, place the pack in the overhead, and then have everything I need from my seat for the whole flight!! It’s very stylish so feel comfortable using it for work trips or more rugged excursions. Can’t say enough about this bag it’s always my go to for any adventure!

The Kayda is hands down the best travel bag whether it's a ski trip and you need a place to hold onto your gear or if you are simply packing up for a long weekend. The bag is well organized and there's plenty of room for packing even with a set of ski boots inside. I've had mine for years and has held up well. Would recommend to anyone time and time again.

The Kayda fits perfectly above overhead storage compartments in airplanes. I am able to easily fit 6-7 days worth of clothing, toiletries, etc. Lightweight and durable. Perfect for day and weekend trips as well as longer vacations!

Is there anything KULKEA didn't think of?! I traveled for several weeks across Colombia and was so grateful for this modular, mega space saving pack! Water bottle pockets for running through tight layovers, zippers for expansion and my favorite- the media "crown" on top! The detachable bag can hold your mac book, ipad or both! It has been extremely useful traveling to presentations and staying organized. This may be the most versatile bag I have ever used. Highly recommend this bag to anyone!!!

Organization: 2 Main compartments 1 Detachable sling for tech and travel documents 1 Phone or sunglasses microfiber compartment 1 laptop and tablet slot 1 secret secure slot for money or documents 1 retractable helmet/jacket sling The one large main compartment is massive and can store snow/ski boots to clothing for multiple days. There isn’t much organization in this compartment but that’s okay as it is designed to be able to absorb any and everything. Should be comfortable for a 4 to 5 day work trip (without boots of course). The smaller front compartment is useful for accessories such as gloves, hats, scarves, or even documents. I throw some smaller camera accessories here as well for easy access. Mini-tripod, cables, selfie stick. The detachable sling is a game changer for air travel. Once on the plane the backpack goes in the overhead and the sling comes with me to the seat. I then have all of the essentials such as power bank, charging, cables, passport, airpods, etc with me. (Good spot toss the phone into for airport security as well). The laptop slot is situated on the back of the pack so keeps the weight close to my center of mass. This helps to prevent back pain. The padding is sufficient that I haven’t felt the shape of the laptop on my back. In conclusion, it is comfortable. There is an additional small zippered slot on the back of the backpack. This will fit a passport, tickets, and some cash. Good spot that is difficult for pickpockets to get at. Retractable helmet/jacket sling. Great contraption for when you are heading to the slopes or just get too hot when hauling through the airport. Build Quality: Ballistic Nylon! Water resistant zippers Everything on this feels rugged and should last a longtime. (hopefully a lifetime) The zippers are really sturdy weather sealed. It should be safe to take this out during wet weather. Areas for Improvement: Laptop Compartment. On some backpacks there is a little sort of hammock built in and the laptop rests on that. This prevents the laptop from contacting the ground if someone drops or places the bag on the ground. Strap length - subjective. The strap length is a little long for everyday use. It doesn’t impact functionality, just aesthetics. I can understand the reason for the long straps though, when worn with a bulky winter coat it is required. Note that I am 5’ 11” and about 150 lbs. Some parts of the interior use a silver-ish material. Some black. The silver is really nice as it makes it very easy to spot anything in the bag.

This is a sharp looking bag with great capacity and unique features. There are two main storage spots plus a laptop slot and microfiber phone or sunglasses pouch. There is then a unique detachable sling. Organization: 1. I throw all of my electronics and stuff that I want to access quickly in the sling. Once on the plane I can detach the sling and place the backpack in the overhead. 2. This can easily accommodate a 16" MacBook Pro and iPad Pro 12.9" (Nifty document slot in the back as well, can toss the passport and ticket in here) 3. Big main compartment with vents. This is designed for snow boots and to evacuate moisture. However, it also works great for gym clothes. 4. Smaller compartment in the front that you can throw gloves and other accessories. 5. There is a helmet hammock as well which is hidden in the bottom part of the bag. This can be used to carry a bundle of jackets as well. Quality: All of the zippers an material feel very high quality. The zippers are all covered and look like it would prevent rain from intruding into the bag. Comfort: Includes sternum and waist strap so that the bag can be worn optimally. Cons: I wish the Laptop/tablet pouch had dividers and that there was more spacing on the bottom. Some bags I've used before have a sort of hammock in the bottom of the bag for the laptop. This prevents the laptop from hitting the floor when the wearer drops the bag on the ground.
